When it was first revealed that the amount for the expression of interest and nomination forms for the position of president under the All Progressives Congress(APC), it sparked a hot debate on social media.
Many were of the opinion that the cost is too huge and was a way of keeping other not so buoyant politicians from participating. Some even argued that it was a mockery of the #NotTooYoungToRun act, which was recently signed by president Muhammadu Buhari.
However, yesterday, news broke that a group of Buhari supporters identified as the Nigerian Consolidation Ambassadors Network(NCAN) doled out the large sum and purchased the form, for the incumbent president.
This has generated a lot of discussions on social media. Many in the opposition have said, it would mean nothing but corruption, if he president accept the gift.

@MBuhari had set a trap for our youths when told them not to contemplate running in 2019. How would they afford this astronomical costs @OfficialAPCNg forms?
Selling @OfficialAPCNg presidential nomination form @N45m is corruption. Anyone who accepts @N45m form is also corrupt.

God bless his kind heart, but let me tell y'all believers of this petty scam something, ABBA KYARI can buy 5,000 of it let alone Buhari. #ItIsTime
