JUST IN: BON, FEDG RELEASE DATES FOR 2019 PRESIDENTIAL ELECTION DEBATES

The Nigerian Election Debate Group have released the dates for the upcoming presidential and vice-presidential debates. Mr John Momoh (OON), Chairman of the Brodcast Organization of Nigeria ( BON) announced at a press conference in Abuja on Thursday. The presidential debate is fixed for December 14, 2018, while the vice-presidential debate is scheduled for Jan 19, 2019.

 

 

He said the debates will be aired on all television and BON related radio stations in Nigeria and also streamed on social media platforms. The debates would hold at Transcorp Hilton Hotel, Abuja. He added that the debates will focus on topical issues that concern the average Nigerian; economy restoration, health care, Job creation, electricity, improving the educational system, and ensuring safety and security for Nigerians. Leaders in various political parties will be challenged to vital questions in a very communal way.
