Chelsea Forward, Eden Hazard, Speaks About New Role Under Maurizio Sarri

Chelsea forward, Eden Hazard, has spoken about his new role under their new coach, Marizio Sarri. The Belgian has been deployed as a false 10 in recent games.

The skillful forward already has 9 goals and has 8 assists this term in his playmaker role.

Hazard who joined the Blues in 2012 from French side, Lille, has shone in his new role and he equally revealed while fielding questions from journalists during the Christmas celebration that he is enjoying the new role.

What he said:

I have never thought about myself; I just try to play for my team-mates. I spend more time in the middle of the pitch now so I am more like a playmaker. Sometimes I am lucky to pass the ball and we score; sometimes not!

‘I want to keep this thing as a part of my football: playing for my team-mates. If everyone can shine it’s good. I’m happy with my form and with what we have done so far this season. For four months now we have been enjoying playing football with the team and the new manager.
