David Villa set for join forces with Iniesta at Vissel Kobe

New York City football club striker, David Villa is set to join Andres Iniesta and Lukas Podolsku in J-League side, Vissel Kobe upon the expiration of his current contract at the US based club. Villa has scored 80 goals in just 124 games for New York City.

The former Football club Barcelona striker made the announcement of his departure via social media. He described his move to the Japanese side as “another step towards the club’s goal of becoming the numbe one club in Asia.
