Yul Edochie Son of veteran Nollywood actor Pete Edochie has taken to his Twitter handle to reveal he is no longer under the political umbrella of the All Progressives Grand Alliance (APGA) party. This came as a surprise to his followers but the actor has already made up his mind.
It could be recalled that after changing his mind to pursue his presidential race, Governor Wilie Obiano appointed the young man as his Senior Special Adviser (SSA). However, he has dumped his political appointment to campaign for Atiku Abubakar. Abubakar is contesting for the presidential seat under the People’s Democratic Party (PDP).
On Monday, December 17, Edochie took to Twitter to announce his support for PDP’s presidential candidate.
According to his tweet, Edochie disclosed that he has dumped his political appointment with Governor Obiano and ready to support Abubakar and Peter Obi in 2019. He also believes that his efforts will not be in vain.

The young man also shared another tweet where he specially thanked the governor of Anambra state and his amiable wife for the opportunity they gave to him.
His post reads;
Today I gave up my position as SSA to Governor of Anambra & joined the PDP with tons of my supporters to give 100% support to @atiku & @PeterObi
I do this for all suffering Nigerians.
I believe it will not be in vain.
I believe in @OfficialPDPNig

Going through his comment section, majority of his followers welcomed him into the new party. Others also praised him for making the right decision. Also, some people queried his decision.
