Manchester City beat Watford yesterday at Vicarage stadium to open a provisional five points lead at the summit of the league table having played a game more. Former Leicester city winger,Riyad Mahrez, was the star man of the night as he provided one assist and also got on the scoresheet himself.
The Algerian International sent a delightful cross from the right towards the far post for Leroy Sane who uniquely chests in, in the 40th minute to break the resolute Watford defence.
With his assist and goal yesterday he has now directly contributed to 13 goals in 10 starts in all competitions this season for the defending champions.
This wonderful feat has got football fans reacting on social media.
What the are saying:
I am already dreading Sterling/Mahrez against Alonso + Luiz on Saturday. Pep is just going to attack that left hand side, it is going to be so bad.

Genuinely think if we still had Kante and Mahrez we'd be top three in the Premier League. Mahrez is an absolute wizard. #lcfc
