‘It Took Us A While But We Got There’ – Chelsea Midfielder, Mateo Kovacic, Says After Chelsea Beat Bournemouth

Chelsea midfielder, Mateo Kovacic, has reacted to their hard fought victory over Bournemouth at Stamford bridge yesterday. The Blues ran away with a lone goal in the 83rd minutes through their talisman, Eden Hazard, after the visitors frustrated them by keeping things extremely tight at the back and resorting to counter attacks.

Kovacic, who joined the Blues in the summer transfer window from Real Madrid, kept this tickling in the midfield and offered so much going forward. The Croatian International kept breaking the visitors counter attacking moves and was an imperial figure in the middle of the park.

The World cup finalist then took to his twitter handle at the end of the match to acknowledge his team’s perseverance which paid off in the end.
