Mo Abudu’s ‘Chief Daddy’ makes Nollywood history

Mo Abudu’s Chief Daddy has amassed over N40 million in opening weekend box office, officially surpassing ‘The Wedding Party’, which had a N36 million opening weekend. The film was released on Friday, 14 December, 2018.

Chief Daddy tells the story of billionaire industrialist, Chief Beecroft, a flamboyant benefactor to a large extended family of relatives, household staffs and assorted mistresses.

The movie features veteran Nollywood actors like; Richard Mofe Damijo (RMD), Patience Ozokwor, Rachel Oniga, Nkem Owoh, Joke Sylvia, Kate Henshaw, multi-hyphenate entertainer, Falz, amongst others.

Chief Daddy is the first executively produced film in 2018.
