Romelu Lukaku Shares The Diet He Is Taking To Improve His Goal Scoring Prowess

Manchester United pacy striker, Romelu Lukaku, ended his 10 matches goalless run at Old Trafford over the weekend by scoring the third goal during their 4-1 decimation of Fulham.

The big Belgian has come under intense criticism following his profligacy in front of goal in the current campaign.

The striker also  admitted to be going through rough patches in the final third as a result of the muscle he developed to suit the playing style of his national team during the FIFA World cup tournament in Russia.

He however added that he has changed diet in order to lose some of the muscles and to also aid his goal scoring prowess.

He disclosed this while fielding questions from journalists at the end of their clash with Fulham.

In his own word:

“When I came back from Belgium I knew straightaway, I cannot play in this style. I had to lose muscle basically. So you just stay out of the gym, drink a lot of water, eat a lot of vegetables and fish and it helps.”
