Buhari first and only Nigerian president not to list achievement in New year message

Omokri, a former aide to former president Goodluck Jonathan has criticised President Muhammad Buhari over his new year message to Nigerians.

According to Omokri, passed Nigerian President, in their new message to Nigerians would recount their achievement in the year past, but Buhari is the only President who didn’t name his, because he has none.

Meanwhile, Buhari in his message thanked  Nigerians for their support, and hoped that his mandate will be renewed in the 2019 presidential election.

I appreciate your support and collaboration in previous years, and look forward to same in 2019, and beyond, as I hope you will renew the mandate you overwhelmingly gave us in 2015, for another term.

I can assure you all that we are making steady and sustainable progress in all areas of national life. Those who are unbiased can see and appreciate the progress the country has made since 2015.

A New Year provides opportunity for renewal of commitment, and I invite you to rededicate yourselves to the vision of a Nigeria that works for all.

We are moving from potentials to actualization, and it is a task to be accomplished by us all; man, woman, young, old, military, civilian, all Nigerians.
Please come along, as we journey to the land of our dreams.

However, Omokri in his criticism said Buhari remains the first and only president not to discuss his achievement with Nigerians.

EVERY year, Nigeria’s leaders give a New Year address to tell Nigerians what they achieved in the previous year and what they intend to do in the New Year. President Buhari is the FIRST & ONLY Nigerian leader not to do this because he has NO ACHIEVEMENT and NO PLANS
