Nigerians fume as NANS president allegedly receives N150m to support Buhari

Nigerians have taken to social media to expressed their disappointment at the leadership of the National Association of Nigerian Students, NANS for allegedly collecting bribe from President Muhammadu Buhari.

Some members of NANS on Thursday, visited the president at the presidential villa in Abuja.

During the visit, NANS president, Bamidele Akpan, promised President Buhari 20million votes in the coming presidential election holding this February.

I can assure you (Buhari) today that if this constituency (Nigerian students) is well utilized, we’ll pull nothing less than 20 million votes for you.

This statement has got a lot of Nigerians fuming in Twitter, as they expected that NANS should be angry after being at home for 7weeks, because of striking lecturers but rather endorsed Buhari for second term instead.
