Man United Beat Barcelona, thrashed by Marseille

Manchester United beat Barcelona 2-1 on Sunday 31 July to end their
North America Tour with five wins in five games.
It was one of the bigest pre-season friendlies and Manchester United
used the median to revenge the champions league defeat.
With almost 82,000 fans in the stadium, it can be vividly said that
United revived their ‘lost pride’.
Nani got the first goal of the game in the first half and after Thiago
Alcantara equalized in the 70th min, Michael Owen made no mistake in
the 76th min. when through on goal to make it Two-One in favour of
Manchester United.
Many would argue that the Barcelona team wasn’t strong enough, but
it’s a very good one for United.

Man Utd were defeated 8-2 (Eight goals to two) at the hands of French
Giant Olympic Marseille in Monaco, France on Tuesday 2nd July. Though
it was a Manchester United team that has ex-United goalie Fabian
Bathez. United Play F.A Cup Winner Manchester City in the Community
Shield showdown on Sunday 7 August in Wembley.
