On December 7th, 2011 Google hosted a New Media Content Creators Workshop focused on helping content producers and owners to use the Internet as a new media channel to distribute content and engage audiences around the world. The workshop was targeted at producers, directors, script writers, artists and freelancers from the entertainment industry, as well as media and advertising industry professionals, brand and corporate marketers, educators, bloggers, social influencers, device manufacturers and media technologists.
