AS Christians all over the world celebrate this year’s Easter, Rivers State Governor, Chibuike Rotimi Amaechi, has called on Christians to be tolerant and imbibe the virtues Jesus Christ preached.
In a statement issued by his Media Spokesman, David Iyofor, Amaechi urged Christians to show love to one another and take advantage of the Easter season to rededicate themselves to God.
“I urge Christians across the country to use this period to rededicate themselves to the service of God and show love and religious tolerance.
“As a government, we celebrate the Easter with determination to impact more positively on the lives of the people through purposeful leadership rooted in the fear of God and service to humanity. Our resolve is to continue to implement policies and programmes to benefit the people of Rivers”, Amaechi added.
