Italy’s influential sports daily Corriere dello Sport has reported that AC Milan are unlikely to sell Nigeria wing back Taye Taiwo in the summer transfer window.
Instead, the Rossoneri are likely to farm Taiwo on loan again to an interested club. On expiration of the loan deal, the club will have of first refusal.
Taiwo is not in the plans of Milan gaffer Massimiliano Allegri for the forthcoming season. The Milan hierarchy are looking to strengthen the left side of defense with the acquisition of Andrea Dossena from Napoli.
Meanwhile, Stoke City are reportedly lining up a bid for Nigeria international and Fulham midfielder Dickson Etuhu, according to the UK Edition of The Sun.
Following the arrival of Mahamadou Diarra in the winter market, Etuhu is no longer being considered for a first team shirt by Coach Martin Jol.
Etuhu joined The Lilywhites in the summer of 2008 from Sunderland for a transfer fee of 1.5 million pounds.
The ex Man City trainee is currently valued at 2.5 million euros by transfer market experts.
