The popular ”got talent” franchise is debuting in Nigeria finally. The maiden edition of Nigeria’s got talent will run from July to December. The show is sponsored by Airtel and auditions start on July 4th. It will be a novel platform for discovering unique talent unlike no other, most talent shows are exclusive to discovering acting and singing talents only, while the got talent franchise is open to a broader range of contestants. Magicians, acrobats, singers have contested in ”got talent” show U.S edition, so we can expect to see the same here. It should make for good viewing.
NGT is a talent show featuring so many competing for the top prize of N10,000,000. NGT is aimed at giving Nigerians an opportunity to showcase their talent on the big stage, either as individuals or groups. The audition for Abuja will hold from July 31–August 1, 2012 while that of Enugu will hold on August 3. The dates for Calabar, Port Harcourt, Warri, Benin and Ibadan are August 7, 9, 11, 13 and 16 respectively. Lagos auditions will hold from August 18- August 19, 2012.
