  • Stop overrating first class degree holders for not all of them worth it. I’m very proud of my two two, and ready to compete with anybody with first class. I’m very sure that devoid of abracadabra and palm greasing, there is no way some people will merit first class.

  • Govt. Should pls stop deceiving the public becus there are lots of 2-2graduates most better than firstclass. Just try open the floor for all,u will be amaze bet me. And dont use age to scare gifted students. Age is just number.thanks

  • Gud offer. But govt. Should stop al dis lip service de cannot implement. By d way we al knw dat ova 95 percent 1st clas degree holderz in dis doz not merit it. Its glearing n’ i m not sayin it 2 justify my 2 1. De shud ve made d floor open 4 every1 cos i m sure i can compete wit any1 regardles of wat u came out wit. I tink we ve got serious minded student in dis gr8t country n’ let not 1st clas or age be a basis 4 such offer or qualification. A beta nigeria is wat we need n’ ask 4. God bless NIGERIA. THANKS

  • OUR GOVERNMENT IS JUST A VERY STUPID ONE, WHO ARE VERY VERY STUPID, THEY ARE TALKING OF DEVELOPMENT AND ALSO CREATING CLASS STRUGGLE, EVERY BODY KNOWS THAT MOST THIRD CLASS STUDENTS ARE FAR FAR BETTER THAN SOME SO CALLED PROFESSORS, WHO ARE JUST BUSY GROWING WHITE BEARS AND NOT CONTRIBUTING ANYTHING TO THE DEVELOPMENT OF THIS COUNTRY THEY THEMSELVES WITH ALL THEIR STUPID DEGREE WHAT HAVE THEY BEEN ABLE TO DO FOR THIS COUNTRY IF NOT STEALING, AND IN CREASING CORRUPTION. MAY GOD PUNISH ALL OF YOU IDIOTS

  • in as much as we can stand to argue the authencity and merit of some first class holder, generality shud be avoided at all cost because some do merit it.come and make 1st class in FUTO!

  • What’s all these dis about 1st class degree holders and them not deserving it?? Is there any Federal University in 9ja where you can pay your way to 1st class honours??

This is a welcomed development jarwe! It would have been better if it was also open to 2:1 graduates, because 2:1 and first class honors are the requirements to gain admission into these top25 universities overseas.

  • Mediocrity has bewitched most of our Nigerian graduates that they dont know the effects and the importance of academic excellence anymore. Our value for academic excellence has so reduce that somebody would be proud to make a 2-2 instead of learning how to perform better some other time. Well, I applaud the FGN for this initiatives and I pray it materialises. For the 1st class guys, keep the flag flying. More grease to your palms. Do us proud anywhere we send you to. For the mediocre 2-2 guys who feels the university failed them, wake up and grow up.
