  3. I hope Mr. Governor will now save us a minute before thinking of other awards he will arrange for himself.
Why are the students protesting in Akure? It wasn’t that the deceased were invited to graze the jamboree award occasion but they were part of the tools used to secured frivolous award, Adeyemi College of Education(ACE) students aren’t in school on the account of unrest in the school due to the protest staged by the students of the institution some months ago to express their anger on the spate of sudden death of their colleagues in Ondo. The school, ACE was closed down since then. The info at my disposal had it that the Provost threatened not to reopen the school until after Oct.20 guber election in the state, but our desperate governor who has no meaningful impact in the school wanted the school to be reopened with the promise that he will off-set the reparation fees on behalf of the students. This gesture was turned down by ACE Provost having notice what Mr. Governor is up to. If not for greediness, Mr. ACE President should have smell desperation in the governor disposition too and as such be at his father house.
This same governor that couldn’t pay tertiary students bursary & scholarship for 2010 academic session suddenly turned to students friend just because we’re closed to election time. The same Dr. Mimiko that embarrassed President of OAU chapter of NAOSS here in Ile-Ife sometime last year all because the guy asked Mr. Governor when he’ll be paying students stipend of bursary & scholarship. He came back to OAU campus 3weeks ago and was able to doled out 250K to the current President of the same association after taken the guy and some few students in his bus to some point in his journey back to Akure. If a governor is fooling other people like Agbero and touts, why should students be falling victim with all these robust and well package destinies from the Creator?
May the good LORD consoles the parents of the deceased.
