The police have arrested an electronic dealer at Zone 3 shopping complex, Abuja, for allegedly being in possession of some stolen iPad and other items belonging to the National Hospital.
Police say the hospital tracking devices planted in its gadgets after series of electronics thefts since January this year.
According to the Chief Security Officer, Mr Mai Lafiya, the tracking device had to be used after yet another theft.
“Recently, the hospital iPad computer got missing, and it triggered the tracking device. The item was traced to a shop at the Zone 3 shopping complex,” he said
According to a police source, the suspect is now in police custody and a search warrant has been issued to search the shop where the iPad was traced to for more stolen items.
