Nollywood actress Omotola Jalade Ekeinde played the role of a young girl who suffered breakdown in an emotional and dramatic Nigerian-British movie, ‘Amina’ shot last year is to premiere in London on Wednesday, 17th October, 2012 at the Empire Cinema in Leicester Square, London.
The movie dubbed ‘a British film with Nollywood sensibilities’ was written and produced by Nigerian born filmmaker based in London, Christian Ashaiku. The movie stars Omotola Jalade Ekeinde, Van Vicker, Wil Johnson, Vincent Reagan and other top British acts
‘Amina’ tells a deeply emotional and dramatic story dealing with the themes of love, loss and redemption.
‘Amina’ is about the story of a young woman (Omotola Jalade Ekeinde) who, devastated by a series of life changing events, especially teenage pregnancy, suffers a total breakdown and finds herself incarcerated in a mental hospital.
