Ondo Decides: Voting Underway As Mimiko Expresses Concern Over Late Arrival Of Voting Materials

Elections are to hold in 3007 polling Units across 203 wards in 18 LGA’s with the major contenders as incumbent governor Olusegun Mimiko (Labour Party), Rotimi Akeredolu SAN (Action Congress of Nigeria) & Olusola Oke (Peoples Democratic Party).

Aside the activities of party agents distributing cash for votes, most of whom have been apprehended and handed over to law enforcement agents, the elections so far have been peaceful and large turn out of voters in some polling units.

Meanwhile, the PDP candidate, Olusola Oke hasn’t been seen since he was held by security personnel in Igbotako, as he entered the village in a convoy.
