Contrary to recent reports that Square Records was planning to sign Ghanaian act, Predy X, as a replacement for ’emancipated’ May D, the label’s CEO has disclosed that the report is baseless.
Reports have said that a Square Records publicist told an online publication that a top producer introduced Ghanaian singer, Predy X to square records, and the singer lived up to expectations after a close assessment; therefore the label decided to sign him.
Square records CEO, Jude Engees Okoye has cleared the air on the matter via Twitter saying the report is false.
