Viewer Discretion: Another Mob Action In Mushin As Four Men Are Burnt To Death Over Robbery Allegations

Have we lost our humanity? Do we no longer hold the sanctity of life sacred or is this just a sad reality that Nigerians have lost complete faith in the ability of the law to give them justice? I am not supposed to have an opinion but I do tonight! This is pure madness!

The men whose charred remains in see you see in the photos below are alleged to have gone on a robbery operation last night before they met their waterloo in the hands of angry residents of the area who wasted no time in giving them what could only be an ‘Aluu treatment!’

Four of them in number, reportedly apprehended this morning after an overnight robbery, were burnt alive in Vono street, mushin area of Lagos.

  1. What a shame. This is clear evidence of d failure of govt to provide security for citizens & dispense justice to those found wanting by d law, since pple can no longer trust the system for security & justice, they hav therefore become a govt to themselves in a country where u hav to provide everything 4 urself. These show of barbarism is a reflection of what we have become as a people & a nation, more worrisome is d fact dat what is perpetrated by those in power is worst than dis killings as govt over d yrs has destroyed d hopes & destinies of millions of nigerians, now what can be more barbaric than one man stealing billions of Naira belonging to pensioners, old men & women who gave their lives in service to d nation only to b killed in d most horrendous & humiliating manner, many become mentally impaired due to depression, some become sick & died subsequently, others are homeless destitutes. Ours is a nation where d human life accounts for nothing. To tell d truth I cannot die for Nigeria, because it has not done anything to deserve such a sacrifice frm me. God help dis contraption we call nigeria.

  2. Hmmmmmm…Wat a pity! Those who want 2 hear should listen. Especially, PSYCHOLOGISTS. If we d poor could get hold of ourselves in dis manner, who do u think is/are d nxt victim(s)? D so called “rich pple” among us who parade themselves millionares/billionares who are LOOTING, STEALING our money. Becos, it seems d police cannot handle dis kind of situation alone. D pple themselves av gone out of hand, they no longer av trust in d law anymore, no fear of God anymore, which shows they’re idle, no work 4 THEIR BRAINS 2 do, no employment, no food 4 dem 2 eat. Becos, an idle mind is d devil’s workshop, An hungry man is an angry man.
PLS DO SOMETHING FAST B4 IT IS TOO LATE….OR ELSE?…I SEE DIS MADNESS LEADING TO ANARCHY! IT is gettn toooooo much. We are talkn abt humans NOT ANIMALS 4 GOD’S SAKE…

  3. Barbarians, that’s what Nigerians have become. We see it everyday, from the police and military brutality on citizens, to the politicians bodyguards cruelty on individuals when the suppose bosses are invited to simple occasions.
Failed system of governance has made people go made, unemployment and poverty isn’t also helping issues. Saddening it is, but yet annoying to note that all we do is sit and make comments like this and others on blogs, without acting out. I am no different, I regret to say, but fear grips us to protest, cos you’re either killed doing so, or locked up unjustly for fighting for our fundamental human rights.
The state of the nation has failed. I pray we can outgrow these gruesomeness soon and very very soon

  4. Mob action and jungle justices like this are well known inccidents in Lagos state. Is like people in Lagos have lost their senses and human nature. The average Lagos resident is babaric in nature and would quickly murder any person they allege thief. Demonic, barbaric sets of Lagosians.
