With the kick-off of the 15th annual Holy Ghost Congress of the Redeemed Christian Church of God (RCCG) at the church camp, along Lagos-Ibadan expressway, banks and other companies have deployed their staff and products to the venue.

On Monday, the first day of the programme, worshippers from different parts of the country as well as other countries of the world, were sighted trooping into the venue of the programme tagged “Signs and Wonders,” in their hundreds. Meanwhile, other users of Lagos-Ibadan expressway have expressed worries that the programme would be another one-week of traffic chaos.

Some of the worshippers expressed optimism in the programme, stressing that God has promised the General Overseer of the church, Pastor Enoch Adeboye to perform signs and wonders during the one-week programme. One of the worshipers who spoke with the Nigerian Tribune, Mrs Stella Okolie from Delta State stated that she had believed God for a child for 13 years after her marriage, but all to no avail until last year congress.

According to her, she heard about the programme from a colleague in the office and gave it a trial in 2011, adding, “I am today a proud mother of a baby boy. God is real in this place, and I believe that anyone that comes to this place with faith will go with testimonies.
