Head, Events and Sponsorships, Etisalat Nigeria, Ms. Modupe Thani has revealed that all is set to bring to the TV screens of Nigerians, the high points of all the auditions for the Nigerian Idol season 3 and assured that viewers will witness an array of music talents throughout the duration of the show.

“Nigerians should brace themselves for a music show like never before seen. The bar has been raised this year in all aspects of the show; from the stage, to the judges and of course the calibre of talents. We guarantee nothing but the best in entertainment,” Thani said. “Viewers can also participate in the show by logging on to Etisalat FaceBook and Twitter pages to find out how to win various competition prizes courtesy of Etisalat,” she added.

Contestants who made it through the different audition stages in the country will each have the opportunity to compete on the Idol stage for a life time chance to be crowned the “voice of tomorrow”.

This all new season is showing without the dramatic Charly Boy who was dropped for an even more legendary personality, Femi Kuti – alongside regular Judges, Yinka Davies and Jeffery Daniels. Ill Rhymz remains host of the show.

The total prize for winner of season 3 is an unbelievable twenty million Naira (N20m); N7.5m cash, N7.5m recording deal and a brand new SUV. The first runner up will walk away with N1.5m and a brand new saloon car courtesy of telecommunications giant, Etisalat.

The Nigerian Idol 3 is hitting your TV screens as from the 16th of December 2012.
