Kunle Ajayi’s Bombshell: Peer Pressure Ruined Majek Fashek, I Jeopardised N33,000 In 1983 For Christianity

Highly rated gospel artiste, Kunle Ajayi recently dropped a bombshell that the present situation the ‘rain-maker’, Majek Fashek, is going through, is as a result of peer pressure he (Majek) had during his peak days.

Kunle, who is a talented saxophonist and Pastor Adeboye’s believed preferred praise leader, disclosed this few weeks ago at the album launch of the first winner of the ‘One Church’ talent hunt being sponsored by Senator Oluremi Tinubu, Michael Oluseye Akingbala aka RCCG Rockstar, held at Abule Egba, Lagos, where he was a guest speaker.

Kunle said that if not for the influence the peer pressure group had on Majek, he would have still remained active in the music industry today as he used to be.

Meanwhile, the gospel artiste said that he rejected an offer worth about N33,000 in 1983 to play guitar in a muslim song. He said that though his mother born a muslim, Falilatu, and he a former muslim, he didn’t agree to play the instrument in the song because of his new found religion.

The event was well attended by some oil and gas big-wigs and was anchored by talented comedian, MC Ice.

  1. What has your speech got to do with religion and majek? Every man got the right to decide his own destiny. Be happy that you escaped from peer pressure..and judge not.. You’re not God
