Osun Indigenes in Lagos to get Free Train Ride to and from Osogbo during the Festive Season

Train Ride in Nigeria 005aIf news coming from the Osun State Government is anything to go by, it is indeed going to be a jolly time for indigenes of Osun State residing in Lagos who intend to spend their yuletide season back home Osun State.

Governor Rauf Aregbesola of Osun State on has announced that his administration would provide free train ride that would convey people wishing to celebrate Christmas from Lagos to Osogbo, the state capital. This was in order to ease the movement of Osun indigenes residing in Lagos during the festive period.

This has been revealed in a statement signed by the Director of Communications and Strategy, Mr Semiu Okanlawon. The free train service commences on Saturday. According to the statement, the Omoluabi Train, as it is branded, would convey people from Lagos to Osogbo tomorrow and Monday by 9.00 a.m. daily. On the Boxing Day, the train will transport people from Osogbo to Lagos by 10.00 a.m.
