Nigeria’s Inspector General of Police, Mohammed Abubakar, today assured that “heads will roll” at the Special Anti-Robbery Squad (SARS) should any police man be found culpable following an investigation into last Monday’s onslaught on the premises of SARS by daring gunmen.

The police boss gave this indication while speaking with journalists in Abuja during his visit to the Federal Capital Territory Police Command.

The attack by suspected terrorists on SARS in the wee hours of Monday left some policemen dead while about 30 detainees were freed with about 26 of them recaptured as at the last count.

While appealing to Nigerians to be rest assured that the days of insecurity will be over regardless of the daunting challenges, Abubakar said that once investigations into the incident is concluded, the next line of action will be determined and no one culpable will be spared.
