ENTRANCE TO WUSE MARKET ABUJA

The Abuja Environmental Protection Board, AEPB, has banned commercial vehicles from operating in the Wuse Market area which has become notorious for street hawking, indiscriminate parking and traffic bottlenecks.This was disclosed by Head, Information and Outreach Programme of the Board Mr. Joe Ukairo. He said that the move became necessary inorder to sanitize the market.

Speaking further, Mr. Ukairo said Commercial vehicles drop passengers anywhere; anyhow they like and pick passengers in the middle of the road adding that the board wants to stop hawkers and street traders along the market road so that there will not be traffic jam.
