Enebeli Elebuwa’s Journey Home Begins Jan. 9


The family of late Nollywood actor Enebeli Elebuwa has released the order of programmes for the burial of the Nollywood great who died in an Indian hospital last month.

According to the programmes, Enebeli’s final journey will begin with a candle light procession and Night of Tribute, holding at the celebrity hangout, O’jez, National Stadium, Surulere, on Wednesday, January 9, 2013 between 5 pm-9pm.

A wake will follow on Thursday, January 10 at NTA Channel 10 ground, Tejuosho, Yaba, Lagos. The requiem Mass is fixed for Friday, January 11, at St Micheal’s Catholic Church. Internment follows immediately at Victoria Court Cemetery, Ajah. On Sunday, Jan. 13, thanksgiving Service is scheduled to hold at Micheal’s Catholic Church, Lafiaji, Lagos.

Enebeli Elebuwa died on December 5, 2012, at the Asian Institute of Medical Sciences, Fridabad, Haryana, New Delhi, India. His remains arrived the Muritala Muhammed International Airport, Ikeja , on the 15th of December, 2012 and was received by the children and few members of the family.

The veteran actor had suffered from several health challenges which required extensive hospital stays in the country before he was finally flown to India, courtesy of the Delta State Government. He died on December 5.
