Embattled eldest son of Jigawa State Governor, Mr. Aminu Sule is back in the news. He has been arrested by the police in Kano after he allegedly crushed a middle-aged man to death along BUK road, by Rumfa College in Kano.
According to a source, the accident which happened around 8.55pm on Wednesday killed the victim instantly. The source also noted that, “for the timely intervention of the police on patrol, Aminu would have been killed by the mob.”
Meanwhile, Kano Police Public Relations Officer, (PPRO) ASP Magaji Musa Majia, confirmed the incident and the involvement of Aminu Sule. He also said the relatives of the victim have been contacted and his body has been taken to a government hospital.
It will be recalled that Aminu Sule is currently under prosecution by the EFCC for alleged money laudering and was detained with his SUV sport car at Kwali police station in Kano.
