Oyinlola will soon go to jail – PDP Chieftain

Buruji KashamuAs the crisis currently rocking the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) continues, a chieftain of the party in Ogun State, Chief Buruji Kashamu, has said that the embattled national secretary of the party, Prince Olagunsoye Oyinlola; national vice chairman (South-West), Chief Segun Oni, Mr Bode Mustapha and some other members of the party were risking jail terms for contempt of the court.

Kashamu made this known during an interview with newsmen, after a meeting held in his Ijebu-Igbo residence, on Sunday. He wondered why a factional chairman of the party, Dipo Odujinrin, sacked by a federal high court, which also nullified ‘congresses’ that brought him into office, paraded himself as state chairman of the party.

In the words of Kashamu, “Oyinlola will soon go to jail, because as you can see there is an aspect of the judgment that had already found him guilty of contempt. We are bringing up an application, which will be forwarded to Abuja this week.

He also noted that the Adebayo Dayo-led executive would soon, institute a case of contempt against Oyinlola and Odujinrin.
