Family members of nine persons killed by gunmen in Zango area of Bauchi state last year, have been employed by the state government.
This was disclosed in a statement yesterday by the Chief Press Secretary to the governor, Ishola Michael Adeyemi. The statement read that already, all those suggested by the families of the deceased, had been issued letters of employment by the State Civil Service Commission and are expected to resume work immediately.
The beneficiaries are Danjuma Ayuba; Dinatu Innah; Virmidah J. Lumi; Jamimah Joseph Komo B; Rahila Samaila; Jamimah I Joro; Chongdah Haruna; Fibi Godiya K. Rimi, Rahila Zamba and Alhamdu Markus.
