Super Eagles’ Draw: I called and warned Keshi – T.B. Joshua

As usual, Prophet TB Joshua, the leader of Synagogue, Church of All Nations has revealed that he warned Coach Stephen Keshi to ensure that the Super Eagles did not concede a last minute goal in their AFCON Group C match against Burkina Faso yesterday.

Just as millions of soccer pundits have critisised the Eagles’ approach to the match, Keshi’s spiritual confidant, Prophet TB Joshua said he spoke to the coach to tighten up his team’s rear, especially in the second half. The leader of Synagogue, Church of All Nations, who said the Eagles also disappointed him as a strong fan said: I called and warned Keshi to watch out for that dangerous move by the Burkina Faso strikers”.

And due to the fact that many people may not belief in his prediction, TB Joshua supported his claims by making a recorded copy of his conversation with Keshi available to P.M.NEWS.

It will be recalled that the Nigerian team, that scored a first half goal through Emmanuel Emenike, were close to winning their opening match at South Africa 2013 Nations Cup, but lost focus and allowed the Burkinabes equalised barely 10 seconds to the end of the match at Mbombela Stadium.

  1. The ministry of Jesus Christ is not wordly. One will expect men of God to draw people to God’s Kingdom which is the only hope of mankind. When they dabble into mundane things like what we have just read about T.B. Jushua warning Keshi on phone and recording a private call for public use and self ego trip, it is not a good example of Christianity and humility. We should learn from Jesus who said he is no part of this world so also his desciples.

    • What do u mean. Am not afraid to say the truth. If T.B. Jushua calls himself a man of god, he should have kept his phone discussion with Keshi to himself. But recording that phone conversation to spite Keshi as if to remind him later saying (i tell u b4 but u no hear my word) is a selfish motive to score cheap publicity. He should concentrate his efforts on reading the Bible.

  2. David, save us that story are you now saying that a man of God can not take part in extra curricula activities like sports, music, politics etc ? Please they are not angels oo but human beings like you and me so let them be. Abi na only men of God go dey lack beta tin? I’ve not seen anything wrong in prophet TB Joshua’s interference in sports.

  3. T.B Joshua is a MAN of God and not ANGEL’s of God. Jesus is a Son of GOD and ANGEL den while comparing MAN with an ANGEL. And wat is bad in man of God telling a coach what to do eventhough is nt a prophesy as long as he said so it wil surely come to pass. Remember football is a carrier which many are praying then wat re u saying PASTOR MRS @Onassis.

    • Keshi will feel bad on hearing that T.B. Josuha is blabing about a simple phone call Joshua had with him and recording such a call which is now a public knowledge. Is Joshua saying the Eagles would have won that match if Keshi had listened to him. By the way did u watch that match. Uche & musa were wasteful in front of goal several times. LET Joshua not play God.

  4. Revelation places a man in a position 2 exercise his God given authority, maybe if keshi ad listen 2 him it mit nt b so,we shud b stranded in d realm in4matn;hunger 4 revelation, which brings about revolution

    • Na today Nigeria dey play ball? When Nigeria win 3 times the U/17 world cup, the Olympic and do well at the “miracle of daman” for Sudi Arabia, which man of god put him mouth. Abi T.B. Joshua no day that time. Football no bi magic. If u get good team with focus, u go play well. If u get political/miracle team, u go fail. Period.

  5. LAST MINUTE GOAL IS NOT A STRANGE ENDING OF A FOOT BALL GAMES. IS ANYTHING GOOD GOING TO HAPPEN TO NIGERIA AS A NATION OR JUST THESE NEGATIVES OR IS THIS A WAY OF SELF ESTEEM? I BELIEVE THERE ARE MORE IMPORTANT DANGERS TO BE PREPARED FOR RATHER THAN OPPONENT LAST MINUTE GOAL , OUR BELOVED COUNTRY IS IN BIG MESS, WE COULD HAVE DONE SOMETHING TO STOP OR TO AVIOD IT IF GOD HAD SPOKEN TO T.B JOSHUA ABOUT IT. PLEASE TELL GOD TO SHOW YOU A WAY TO GOOD FUTURE OF NIGERIA AND NOT FOOTBALL, I KNOW YOU CAN DO IT SIR.

  6. he have every right as a human being, but i must chip in a bit particularly to chief coach, he mess up the sweet game, i knew what he was trying to do. But in a game like these u don’t do that, must u cap all at the same time, it has to b gradually. Removing, puting, ogude did a great job on peter petriopa no body notice him in that game, they took him off, now to release off his hook, i thought he study the well. Bcos holding bustling bukinabes side for that long period, it show that he study the game but just eager to fullfil promise of uncapped international players we have that cost us that, they play very well good anticipation ball control 100% , hope they will scale through to next hurdle. May god bless d team.

  7. You guys maybe blind-folded in this arguement. Let me ask this questions; 1. Does a coach answers phone call while on bench? 2. When did Man of God called him? 3. How reliable is P.M news publication, why not other papers that is widely read? I may contribute more when these questions are answered. Thanks!

    • Buchi, every other Nigerian like sports too. Remember the controversy TB Josuha caused when Ghana U/19 team played the finals against their Brazillian counterpart in a penalty shot-out and won the gold medal. TB Joshua went to town and the news media with the story of how he phoned the coach to allow a particular player to take the lst shoot which according to him led to the Ghanians winning that match. The fall out was too embarrasing that the late John Atta Mills (President) and the coach at different times expressed their disgust at Joshua’s words. It was as if he made Ghana to win not the tireless efforts of the players. That was disgraceful and i thought TB Joshua had learned some lessons but he has not. JESUS CHRIST use 5 loaves and 2 fishes to feed 5,000 men besides women and children. At the end, there were surplus (left-overs). Can your man do just 50% of this publicly and on tv. I will clap for him. Humility is priceless. Let him buy it. Thanks.

  8. Well, tank u Nigerians,i am nt critisizin T.b,bt want him 2 knw dat al nigerians nid is gudnews n nt bad prophecies.GOD hs gvn u power 2 c tins 2 com n avert dem 2 d favor of His pple.GOD is nt a wicked or bad God,he knws what is gud 4 us n He wouldnt av shown T.b if at al he did,dat 2 mak us sad,bt 2 do smtin.how many profets in nigeria hs eva said such,n oda talks?wel,we shud pray as individuals 4 Nigerian supa eagles.GOD BLES NIGERIANS,GOD BLESS OUR HEARTS.

  9. Dia is no big deal in pastor’s prophecy take it easy on pastor tb,prophecy can either b of good or bad and if good their are step 2 b taken 2 accomplish it and if bad also their are step 2 be taken 2 avert it so it depend on how u view it and if u are a good xtain i think u should not judge any pastor as d bible said i mean pastors not those 419ers,so let pastor tb b till Gods time bcos u cannot fight for Him.

  10. Abeg man of God,pls ask God to show you the sponsors of boko haram that are destroying God’s church and his children.expose them as you expose this phone call with keshi and the whole world will never forget you.some of us living in north, football is the least important thing in our mind now

  11. To cut all the chitchat short, I sure to obey is better than sacrifice, and to heed is better than the fat of rams”. Keshi may have the all technicalities required but may not be well endowed to the divinity behind football! I see nothing bad if a sayer nay a prophet sees something untoward in a yet to be played match and cautions. Sincerely, he has done his part and I know we are all expecting the commandeering of the 13th unseen player on the field of play! God is not a partial God, He is just, and He is God!

Why was octopus Paul called the Saint Paul of Football? – Just is to lay a weight to our quest in seek spirituality because all men are created as mortal beings with immortal spirits- our real compositions!

Candidly, both of them acted as true lovers of football, therefore then it is neither he who trains is anything, nor he who sees the dying minutes goal, but God who controls and gives the increase. Now he who trains and he who sees are one, and each one will receive his own reward according to his own labor.
Recall the Daman miracle and note our true God is at work and will reward based on the efforts we put in building up this team as well as the trust we have in Him.

  12. A preacher can use diverse situations to make unbelievers to accept Christ. Football is one of the strongest weapons in this present generation. It is the gift of God to recognise this. The world is ruled by the evil ones. With prophet T.B. Joshua great annointing, he is bound to face alot of envy and persecutions because alot of people including those possessed feel threatened by his exploits. Their food, they felt, will soon be taken away from them just as the chief priest, teachers of the law and the rulers of Isreal felt with Jesus. Did the bible not say that those who are not against us are for us? (Mark 9:38-40) Was it Jesus that crucified the chief priests, teachers of the law and Herod or the other way round? (Mark 14:1, 63-64;15:9-15). What of the case of Saul, a persecutor and after his conversion now being persecuted. (Acts chapters 22 to 26). Those persecuting TbJ are exhibiting their spiritual dwarfism, and cannot see beyound their noses. I pray that the love for things of the world (greed) will depart from them and their hearts and eyes be opened to the truth in Jesus name.
