As speculations over the state of health of Danbaba Suntai, Taraba State governor continue, his Plateau State counterpart, Governor Jonah Jang, has reassured Nigerians that the Taraba State governor, who is recovering in Germany, will soon return to his duty post.
The governor, who gave the assurance on his arrival from an overseas trip in company with his wife, Ngo Talatu, at the Yakubu Gowon Airport, Heipang, Plateau State, said the governor was recuperating fast. Jang, who visited Suntai in Germany, said his health condition had not only improved, but he was in a stable state with good memory and expressed optimism that he would soon return to his duty post in Taraba State.
Governor Jang also said while in Mozambique, he met with President Goodluck Jonathan and held a far-reaching deliberation on ways to strengthen ties and cooperation with Mozambique, with Nigerian Ambassador to Mozambique, Ambassador Matilda Kwarshi, present.
He said he was delighted to be back home and commended the Nigerian Super Eagles over the victory in the group stage in the ongoing 2013 Orange African Cup of Nations in South Africa, and also wished them success in their subsequent matches.
