The Governors of the All Progressive Congress (APC) are expected to meet in Abuja today for a closed door meeting with committees set up to work on the constitution, manifesto and logo of the newly-formed coalition.
Two weeks ago, the party had set up three committees to work on programmes and legal framework, under which the new party would operate and the committees were given two weeks which will lapse on Wednesday. It has been gathered that the committees had largely completed their assignments as directed by Chief Tom Ikimi, who inaugurated them in Abuja.
Hence, the governors’ meeting is designed to get their inputs into the various documents before official submission tomorrow (Wednesday).
Also, the APC governors are expected to make a statement on their recent visit to Maiduguri, the Borno State capital, which is under an APC governor.
Am really interested in the manifesto and the ideology of this mega party to know if we can align with it
