After spending over sixty days outside the shores of Nigeria, Cross River State Governor, Liyel Imoke, returned to the country on Friday night from London aboard a British Airways flight around 7pm.
He immediately flew to Abuja on a chartered flight before returning to Calabar, the state capital.
It would be recalled that Imoke had left Nigeria on November 19, 2012 for undisclosed reasons, although a statement by his office said he informed the state house of assembly on December 6 that he was proceeding on an accumulated leave outside the country and had handed over to his deputy, Efiok Cobham.
