Nickelodeon’s 26th Annual Kids’ Choice Awards were held on March 23, 2013, at the Galen Center in Los Angeles, California. Josh Duhamel, the star of the Transformers: Dark of the Moon, New Year’s Eve, and Safe Haven, served as the host of the event. The “Orange Carpet” was set up in front of Galen Center on Jefferson Boulevard.
Kristen Stewart who won the Favourite Movie Actress award revealed she had been scared to accept her award due to the ceremony’s trademark slime routine.
As she received her award, Stewart not only put her hands in the green stuff, but was given a big hug by fellow actress Sandra Bullock who had been sprayed with the gunge moments before.
At the end of the show, Cannon and Josh Duhamel took part in a special zip line stunt to reveal the winner of “Best Male Buttkicker”. After Dwayne Johnson won the award, he surprised the two stars with a grand finale of green slime all over them and the audience near the stage.
