President Goodluck Jonathan has assured Nigerians that his administration would ensure the equitable distribution of Federal Government projects and appointments.
The president made this known while receiving a 16-member delegation of the Southern Kaduna Consultative Forum led by former governor of defunct Rivers State, Major General Zamani Lekwot, at State House Abuja. He noted his concern for justice and equity and the need to ensure that “every section of the country gets its fair share, and we will continue to do that.”
President Jonathan also expressed his administration’s appreciation to the people of Southern Kaduna for their consistent support during the elections, saying that no politician could fully pay back for the votes of supporters: “We cannot pay back what you have done by voting for us,” he said, adding, “but we are already working hard to address some of the issues you have brought to us today.”
