PURPOSE AND OBJECTIVES
SAP Maintenance Go to Market is currently looking to hire a “Maintenance Sales Specialist” for West Africa based in Nigeria, reporting to Senior Maintenance Sales Director EMEA as well as COO MU AFRICA. It is a regular full-time contract.
EXPECTATIONS AND TASKS
For the entire support revenue stream of the MU AFRICA, in excess of 120MEur (that represents more than 40% of Revenue in MU AFRICA) and the full portfolio of maintenance services
-To minimize Maintenance@risk (M@R)
-To maximize the number of customers on and the revenue from Enterprise Support
-To recover customers who have discontinued or downgraded their maintenance contracts andgenerate additional revenue for SAP
-To work with F&A department on maintenance cash collection
-To ensure compliance with all related global policies and processes, especially but not limitedto M@R policy and termination policy for non-payment
-To drive execution of related global, regional and local programs
-To support deal execution in the regions as needed, including education of customers’procurement and legal groups, in regards to a Maintenance Contract.
-To directly interact with AEs, CPs, CEMs, SSDs and customers to position the value of SAP’sMaintenance Solutions as supported by value propositions.
-Educate and enable field sales on Maintenance go-to-market tools, strategies, supportofferings and opportunities (AE/SE, etc).
-Engage partner support / awareness of SAP Support offerings and ensure compliance withPCoE rules
-For all relevant forecasting & reporting in close collaboration with other departments, espSales, F&A and Field Services
Desired Skills & Experience
EDUCATION AND QUALIFICATIONS / SKILLS AND COMPETENCIES
-Has a very good understanding of SAP software and its operations on customer side
-Possesses deep knowledge of SAP maintenance services and their value for the customer
-Is a well structured and analytical thinker
-Is a strong communicator
-Has proven Project/Program Manager skills
5+ years of experience, preferably in a customer facing role (sales, FS)
