The Golden Eaglets qualified for the U17 World Cup in grand style with a 7- 0 victory over a nine- man Congo on Saturday.
The victory means Nigeria will battle Tunisia, the runners- up of group A in Marrakech on Wednesday to stand a chance to play at the final.
The other semifinal slated for Tuesday will have Morocco, the winners of group A battle Cote d’Ivoire, who finished behind Nigeria as runners- up with five points after they were held to a stalemate by Ghana.
Kelechi Iheanacho and Isaac Success were too wild for the Congolese to tame as the pair went on to score a hat- trick and a brace respectively.
Iheanacho opened scoring in the 4th minute, assisted by a pass  from Success.
Success went on to double the lead in the 27th minute before firing in his sixth goal of the tournament from a penalty spot in the 33rd minute after Imouele stopped Bernard Bulbwa’s goal- bound shot with a hand.
The Congolese received their second red card of the match when Yobi deliberately kicked Omego.
Iheanacho then made it 4- 0 with a 44th minute strike.
Yahaya Umar scored the fifth goal in the 48th minute, before Ifeanyi Mathew made it 6- 0 with a superb goal after an exchange of passes with Iheanacho in the 59th minute.
Iheanacho completed his hat- trick in the 80th minute, benefiting from a poor clearance made by the Congolese keeper.
