FG, World Bank, Donate 24 Patrol Bikes, 4 Ambulances To FRSC

46575_10151415928437017_29338665_nAs part of efforts aimed at assisting the Federal Road Safety Corps (FRSC) to discharge its responsibilities effectively, twenty four patrol motorbikes and four ambulances were yesterday donated to the Corps by the Federal Government, under the auspices of the World Bank funded “Safe road corridor project.”
Permanent secretary, Ministry of Works Dr. A. K. Muhammad said the ambulances and patrol bikes will be used in specific places to enhance road safety management and increase safe enforcement strategies.
In his response, Corps Marshal Osita Chidoka said “these vehicles will be deployed immediately to relevant corridors and judiciously utilized.”
