PureFlex Client Technical Architect are responsible for all pre and some post sales activities regarding IBM’s PureFlex offerings to customers within a defined territory by:

Translates a clients business requirements into PureFlex solutions and architectures
Delivers high quality solutions to clients in response to varying business requirements
The Architect understands client needs, works in levels of abstraction, applies industry knowledge and insight
Achieving the assigned territory brand objectives (profit and revenue) by supporting the PureFlex sales team
At a senior level the position requires significant knowledge across multiple platforms and datacentre technologies
Technical tasks including study, analysis, design, demonstrations, proof of concepts and proof of technologies
Understand the competitive landscape and strengths and weaknesses of technologies
Drives client and partner technical workshops as well as longer term studies
Drives and supports the IBM Pure ecosystem in country (Innovation Centers, ISV/SI relationship development, business partner channels)
Works to optimize ISV’s solutions on Pure technologies
Works closely with the PureSales Leader to ensure technical resources are aligned to support the business plan
Configures and PureFlex solutions and build technical delivery plans with support from our partners in country
Tight linkage with the services lines (IBM and partner) to ensure smooth delivery and implementation of solutions
Supports enablement plans and demand generation events
A level of technical leadership is expected to drive the local technical community around common goals

Bachelor’s Degree
At least 5 years experience in Sales experience
At least 5 years experience in Technical knowledge
At least 5 years experience in Solution Satisfaction
English: Fluent

Other Sciences
At least 8 years experience in Sales experience
At least 8 years experience in Technical knowledge
At least 8 years experience in Solution Satisfaction
