Injury Worries in Ranger’s Camp Ahead of CAF Champions League Fixture.

Ahead of the CAF Champions League clash between Enugu Rangers and Recreativo do Libolo of Angola, there have been some few injury worries at the Enugu camp. This is coupled with the hesitancy of other clubs to release registered players for the match.

Chibuzor Madu is the only recognised central defender available as Ekene Iwuorie and Ousmane Pape Sane, Cyril Oriaku are injured. The club’s captain Godwin Ayalogu has shaken off injury and will be available for this weekend’s Champions League game, but if the Chigozie Agbim deal falls through he remains the only goalkeeper available for selection.
The three injured defenders were not part of the training camp, which also has strikers Alhaji Gero, Efe Yarhere, Razaq Adegbite and Sanusi Sani.
Rangers will have to be at their best at home if the Enugu club hope to come out on top.
Meanwhile, the availability of Sunday Mba could go a long way in strengthening the defense and also improve the team’s quality in the midfield.
Their opponent Recreativo do Libolo currently sits at the bottom of their 16 teams League table as they have failed to hit top form this season having only won one game after seven rounds.
Rangers, on the other hand, have had an impressive start to the season as they occupy second place in the NPFL table and have performed fairly on the continent, albeit against averagely rated oppositions.
