The claim by the Military Joint Task Force in Kano State that it killed 14 persons suspected to be members of the terrorist group, Boko Haram when it raided their hideout at Unguwa Uku area of the state has been described as ‘propaganda.’
One Muhammad Marwana, who claimed to be a member of the group while speaking to the Voice of America Hausa Service, said the stories released to the press by JTF were ‘lies and fabrication.’
“I swear to God, the Almighty that those killed were not our members. They were only residents in the area. There was only a woman who was the wife of one of our members who was also killed but not a single member of our group was killed,” he said.
“I want to confirm that those who were killed were not our members. They (JTF) are spreading propaganda to newspapers that they killed our members; it is not true. They are only killing innocent people in disguise,” he was quoted as saying.
He further added that the JTF “are busy day and night spreading propaganda that they did this, they did that. If it is true going by what they were saying, they would have finished with us since.”
This has confirmed d cry out by some people dat JTF r just killing harmless citizens.JTF should just keep shut n go after d real perpetrators not innocents citizens. If u’re killing bh everyday then there number should b less and so also is there activities.
Are u one of them, because instead of rebuking the Boko Haram members, u are talking rubbish against those sent to keep law and order. When they carry out their atrocities, they fisil into the populace- how do u spot them out? Every Mai Anguwa should fish them out in their domain. The should report all strange activities.

Still the boko haram should take the blame of the innocent souls killed by the JTF if the boko guys maintain peace (law n order) there might not be such JTF in the town talk less of killing innocent people… Embrace peace in the name of Allah d almighty

I think d boko haram want us to believe dt they are untouchable, but i believe dt there is no smoke without fire. If the people killed by JTF are innocent then why was ammunitions recovered from them?
