Saturday’s Local Government elections in Ikpoba Okha and Oredo Local Government Areas of Edo State have been postponed by the State’s Independent Electoral Commission (EDSIEC).

This was disclosed by EDSIEC Chairman, Solomon Ogoh who attributed the decision to inadequate materials for the councillorship polls in both local governments.

He said the Commission has decided that the conduct of the polls should be on Thursday next week.
