The Northern States Governors Forum (NSGF), has commiserated with the Government and people of Ekiti State over the passing away of the state’s deputy governor, Mrs Olufunmilayo Aduni Olayinka.
In a statement by Chairman of the forum and Governor of Niger State, Muazu Aliyu, the forum enjoined Governor Kayode Fayemi and people of the state to be encouraged by the fact that the late Mrs Olayinka lived an inspiring and a fulfilled life.
The forum also urged members of the deceased’s family to be consoled by the fact that the late deputy governor departed after a life of dedication to service of God and humanity.
The statement which described the late Mrs Olayinka as a ‘good woman’ who had a positive impact on the environment around her, prayed God to grant the deceased eternal rest and the people of Ekiti State the fortitude to bear the irreparable loss.
