GEJ-House-JonathanThe House of Representatives on Tuesday afternoon followed in the steps of their Senate counterparts to approve the State of Emergency declared by President Goodluck Jonathan in Adamawa, Borno and Yobe states last week Tuesday.

The Reps approved the proclamation after a closed door session hours after the upper chamber unanimously gave a similar approval.

The approval by the two chambers of the National Assembly gives legalization to the declaration of emergency rule by Mr. Jonathan.
