Real Madrid General Manager Jose Angel Sanchez has said Argentina international Gonzalo Higuain will be available for a transfer.
“In a great club like Real, we believe we need two number nines of a high level. We have Benzema and Higuain, Higuain will leave, Benzema will stay and two others will come,” Sanchez said.
Among the clubs interested in Higuain are Arsenal, Tottenham, and Manchester City.
Tottenham failed to sign the striker last summer and with Emmanuel Adebayo set to leave White Hart Lane, they will be looking for a replacement.
Meanwhile, Real Madrid are monitoring Everton midfielder Marouane Fellaini as they intend to rebuild their team, Xabi Alonzo is another player likely to be heading out of the Bernabeu.
