The suspects were caught by residents around Ajia compound in Gambari area of the town and handed over to the police

The suspects allegedly seized the opportunity of the on-going road construction between Bolanta junction and Gambari road in the area to embark on the utterly odious act.

The road construction reportedly affected some graves in Ajia compound which were said to have been exhumed by the suspects apparently for reburial elsewhere.

Confirming the incident, Police Public Relations Officer of the state, Olufemi Fabode said the police were still investigating the matter, as the two suspects feigned ignorance of the offence they allegedly committed.
